- Yoro hit out at Man Utd’s critics
- Optimistic of success in 2025-26 season
- Man Utd went unbeaten in US pre-season tour
United successfully concluded their pre-season tour of the US, where they won two out of the three matches they played and drew against Everton in their final game on Sunday. After featuring in the starting lineup in all three matches in America, Yoro is now optimistic of winning titles for the club in the 2025-26 campaign.
Speaking to reporters, Yoro said: “There are a lot of people that want us to fail and we know that. But there are also a lot of people that want us to do it, to do great things. We just focus on the fans, you know. We don’t care about what they say outside, about the media. Everyone said bulls**t about us last year. But I understand because we didn’t do really well.”
The French defender added: “But this season will be different, I hope for us. We don’t need to listen to this and just be focused on ourselves. When you play for Manchester United, you need to have the mindset of being the best version of yourself.u0026nbsp;
“I think what they did last season was a mistake for us. When you’re Manchester United, you cannot be at this position. The fans know it, everyone knows it. I think we understand this. This season will be different for us. It will be like a revenge from last season. We need to do better.”
Ruben Amorim’s side will play their final pre-season friendly against Fiorentina at home this Saturday before kicking off the new season against Arsenal on August 17.
