Ex-England international Dele, who has struggled since bidding farewell to north London in 2022, finds himself in the free agent pool once again. He first hit that market after seeing his deal at run down.

“It wouldn’t at all surprise me from what I hear if Swansea City and Dele Alli becomes a thing over the next few weeks. Dele Alli won’t get an opportunity in my in a big-five league after it didn’t work out at Como but maybe a Championship club on a short-term deal.”

Despite his difficulties, Dele is not ready to give up yet. He continues to train in a bid to keep himself sharp, with it possible that he could be added to an EFL squad somewhere outside of the summer and winter transfer windows.
