- Donnarumma set to complete Man City transfer
- Guardiola lands Ederson‘s replacement
- Donnarumma’s PSG nightmare ends
Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester City have agreed on a deal with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Donnarumma on a long-term contract. The Italian goalkeeper will undergo his medical on Monday afternoon, before officially being unveiled at the Etihad. The English giants have acted swiftly on deadline day after sanctioning Ederson’s transfer to Fenerbahce.
Romano also revealed that City’s Ederson is on the verge of sealing a transfer to Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce, who have agreed to sign the custodian for a fee in the region of €14 million (£12m/$16m). The Brazilian’s agent Jorge Mendes has thrashed out personal terms with Fenerbahce sporting director Devin Ozek.
Donnarumma, who entered the final year of his PSG contract this summer, publicly expressed his desire to leave the European champions after falling out of favour under manager Luis Enrique. PSG signed new goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille earlier in the transfer window.
The Italy international could make his debut for the Cityzens after the international break in a derby clash with Manchester United on September 14 in the Premier League.
