Amid their transfer links with Leipzig star Sesko, Red Devils CEO Berrada has revealed how the board and club officials are working hard behind the scenes to make a few more signings as the club aim to start winning titles from the 2025-26 campaign.

Speaking to reporters, the United CEO said: “We have to do a lot of multi-tasking. We have a team back home led by (director of football) Jason (Wilcox), the recruitment team, that is working around the clock to ensure that we continue to find opportunities to strengthen our squad.

“There are lots of late calls and early morning meetings to make sure that we stay on top of it. What we want to do is to win and to start winning titles as soon as possible. Of course, adding players helps. We have seen the arrival of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon.”

He added: “They have adapted really well. We are going to see Bryan play for the first time (in Atlanta), Matheus has already shown his quality and Diego has shown that he is adapting very quickly having just come from Paraguay, so all of the signs are positive and we are cautiously optimistic. We hope we are going to have a great season.”

United ended their US pre-season tour with a 2-2 draw against on Sunday. They will now return home and play one last preparatory match against at home before kicking off the new season against on August 17.
