- New twist in Osimhen transfer saga
- Galatasaray reject Napoli’s conditions
- 英超聯賽 clubs on red alert
According to Fabrizio Romano the 意甲 giants have demanded €40m (£34m/$44m) upfront from the Turkish side and the remaining €35m (£30m/$40.9m) in add-ons by 2026. They also want a sell-on clause to be added to the deal. However, Galatasaray want to pay the remaining amount of the transfer fee by 2027 and do not want to add any sell-on clause.
La Repubblica reported on Monday that Galatasaray had formally submitted their required bank guarantees to Napoli as they were prepared to meet the €75 million (£63m/$82m) valuation of the forward, but they have now rejected the proposal.
The stalling of transfer talks for Osimhen has certainly alerted clubs in the Premier League and 沙特職業聯賽. Manchester 團結的 和 兵工廠 were previously linked with a move for the Nigerian star, while Al-Hilal were also prepared to launch a bid for the player.
The 26-year-old striker will hope that the situation is resolved soon, as he wants to have clarity on his future before the 2025-26 campaign kicks off next month.
