- Swiss star embracing new challenge
- Left 尤文圖斯 as a 意甲 title winner
- Needs to help provide attacking spark
瑞士 international Lehmann is embracing a new challenge in 2025-26 after severing ties with Juventus. She spent just one season in Turin, during which she became a Serie A title winner.
The 26-year-old forward is excited by the project being pieced together by Como Women on and off the field, but is aware that a new venture is unlikely to run smoothly at all times. Their latest outing delivered a stalemate with Genoa at the Ferruccio Stadium in Seregno.
Lehmann was not on target in that contest, but did her best to provide a creative spark. Said cause was hindered at times by long braids that fell in front of her face and blocked her vision. The Swiss posted a picture of said locks alongside the caption: “Crazy hair day.”
Mathilde Madsen got Como’s goal, with the Danish midfielder telling the club’s official website afterwards of failing to emerge victorious on home soil: “On a personal level, I’m obviously very happy about the goal, especially because I scored it in front of our home fans. But there’s a lot of disappointment because we didn’t win the match.
“What was missing? We created so many scoring chances but weren’t clinical enough. We lacked the final pass or the composure in front of goal. There’s definitely a sense of frustration.”
Lehmann has been acquired in a bid to help 科莫 find a spark in the final third of the field. She has signed a three-year contract that will take her through to the summer of 2028.
